Multiplication and Division – Grade 2 Math Help With Multiplication and Division By Stuart Ackerman In grade 2 multiplication and division, your child will use his or her skills of numbers, number patterns, addition and subtraction. Your child will use multiplication and division in real life contexts and learn how to problem solve by making models and using charts. Practice counting by 2’s, 3’s, 4’s, 5’s, and 10’s. This will help your child learn about multiples (e.g. 2, 4, 6, 8, and 3, 6, 9, 12…).
