Numbers – Grade 4 Math, Comparing Numbers, Estimating, Rounding, and Multiplying Numbers By Stuart Ackerman In grade 4 math, your child will learn how to read and write large numbers, multiply by base tens, estimate, and compare numbers. Your child will learn: · to read, represent, and write large numbers (place value) · represent numbers using words · to multiply by base 10 (i.e. 10, 100, 1000 etc…) Your child should be familiar with the appropriate vocabulary related to grade 4 numeration such as: · expanded form, standard form · rounding · whole numbers How you can help your child at home:
